当研究室では「細胞内/生体内有機化学の開拓」を目指して、有機化学、分子認識化学、分析化学、生化学、分子生物学を駆使したケミカルバイオロジー研究を展開しています。タンパク質や脂質といった生体分子の解析に有用な分子プローブを開発し、脳機能の解明や新しいガン治療法の開発に挑戦しています。詳細はこちらをご覧ください。

Our laboratory aims to pioneer “intracellular and in vivo organic chemistry” by advancing chemical biology research that integrates organic chemistry, molecular recognition chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology. We develop molecular probes useful for analyzing biomolecules such as proteins and lipids, and we apply these tools to elucidate brain function and to develop novel cancer therapies.
